Hybrid photo diode (HPD) detectors provide excellent single photon detection capability with good linearity and fast timing. A wide range of models are offered to ensure you capture every available photon.
HPDs detect the greatest amount of photons with virtually no added noise, combining vacuum-based image intensification technologies with a silicon diode.
