Photonis, part of Exosens and world leading manufacturer of image intensifier tubes, has supplied cutting-edge 4G+ P45 (white phosphor) 18mm image intensifier tubes to Theon Sensors for integration by its local partner Force Ordnance (Australia) into 120 NYX binoculars utilized by the Australian Army. These binoculars are pivotal in training Australia's allied forces across South East Asia and the Pacific, facilitated by distributor Force Ordnance. Crucially, these image intensifier tubes, manufactured outside the USA, are ‘ITAR-free,’ allowing seamless international export without restrictions and highly facilitate the sharing of technology and collaboration with Australia’s regional strategic partners.

Engineered for peak performance in modern nighttime operations, the 4G+ P45 intensifier tubes deliver exceptional results across diverse field conditions. Boasting extended bandwidth for superiorimage clarity, rapid auto-gating for swift adjustments, and minimal halo effects around light sources, these Photonis image intensifier tubes enhance operational effectiveness. Their high Figure Of Merit (FOM) and heightened sensitivity extend operational range, significantly improving situational awareness for dismounted soldiers and military vehicle drivers alike.
