Telops Celebrates 25 Years of Imaging Innovations!

Telops, part of Exosens, a leading designer and manufacturer of high-performance hyperspectral imaging systems and infrared cameras, is celebrating its 25th anniversary.
Founded in 2000 by three optics and high-tech specialists in Quebec City, the company began its journey with the renowned hyperspectral camera, the Hyper-Cam, which is still being produced today, alongside cutting-edge infrared cameras and other hyperspectral imagers, all recognized worldwide. Since our beginnings, we have strived to distinguish ourselves through the exceptional quality of our technical team and our innovative approach to challenges in the infrared thermography field.
Today, we are grateful to be internationally recognized for the expertise of our esteemed team of scientists, engineers, and technicians, as well as the outstanding performance of our imaging solutions. Over time, the company maintained an organic growth of 15% per year. In the past few years, Telops has also introduced a new service for detecting methane and various other gases. By the end of 2025, we plan to launch approximately six new products, including the next generation of hyperspectral imaging, the HC Nano xLW UAV.

In April 2023, Telops was acquired by Exosens, based in France. However, we have maintained our headquarters in Quebec City, where our team of over 100 professionals continues to push the boundaries of exceeding customers’ expectations. We are proud to see our cameras used worldwide, in defense, industrial and academic research applications.
